Who uses Steam and what games do you play? Oh and by the way, as of right now the Winter Sales is now a go! Thank you, Based Gaben!

I originally got Steam when my borther bought me portal. Looking at my play time the games I've played most are Rayman Origins, Cave Story +, Comander Keen Complete Pack and Portal.

This past week for me: The amount of games you've played compared to the game you've bought is too damn low.

I kind of have a Steam account, but there is very little in the way of games that I can play because the family laptop is an old Toshiba laptop that was cheap to begin with so it is not meant for gaming. Hopefully I will be able to work on getting my own gaming computer after I get myself a 3DS/Omega Sapphire. As for what I already have: Empire: Total War (dont know if it works, just got it) Medieval 2: Total War (dont know if it works, just got it) Shogun 2: Total War (doesnt work ) Civilization 5 (barely works, usually play non-DRM, Disk copy of Civ 4) Team Fortress 2 Euro Truck Simulator 2 Democracy 3 And that last one is my new favorite game. I beat LuciferIX challenge of creating a Republican State in the US, then I created my Utopia in America (which doesnt really fall into the classic Democrat/Liberal vs. Republican/Conservative divide, and is more of a "If I like it, I dont care if it is Liberal or Conservative" idea), and am currently doing so "funny" countries, which are usually based on something Ironic about me doing it. Things like Ultra Free-Market France (they currently have a socialist president), Orwellian Police State in the United Kingdom (for obvious reasons), a Theocracy in Australia, and an ultra-patriotic, Jingoistic......Canada.

Grimgor Ironhide - Not sure if that was a challenge per say, lol. But you actually got it to where you cut taxes to bare minimum and still was able to bring the country out of debt without getting killed? Impressive, did you lower or raise the difficulty? As for my own ones that I do, I generally do what I feel should be done to succeed which doesn't always align with the Democrats, and my final graph of policies generally shows, but they definitely lean towards higher taxes but more commodities provided by government to ease citizen burden. But I've only gotten the bigger games that I've already been waiting for, otherwise just a handful of the $2 range ones that I only expect to hold my attention for a few hours every once and a while. Now to start chipping away at them. Came out ahead in funds for badge creation though. So that's a nice piece to end the sale.

True, it may not have actually been a challenge, but when I heard you say that, I still though "Challenge accepted...once I get the game". And I will admit, it took copious amounts of trial and error, and many deaths from the Liberals, Socialist, and/or the Ethnic Minorities, but I eventually got it. Although, I barely survived the elections (though that is how it usually happens in real life anyway). My actual "for real" playing is, according to the in-game political compass I am about 95% capitalist, and like 52% Liberal. Its usually average income and sales tax, low corporate tax, and average alcohol/tobacco tax, and nothing else (meaning everyone has a tax free way of making money through stocks and bonds), with below average services (but a maxed out military), with the idea being you dont pay much in taxes, so you have more to spend on yourself, but there is still a little bit of help if needed (just like my real life politics).

So Steam added a 'Curator' feature recently. I feel that this is a great way to counteract the main problem with steam in that is just overloaded with shit and good stuff gets buried really quickly.

Warning:
Don't watch the Steam Broadcasting, all there will be is porn... well, not all; but quite a few. I think Valve is tracking down on that stuff.
