I want to make a statistical argument for who Ash would be with. I need help with this though. How much do you guys think Ash cares about different features and characteristics of a girl, on a scale of 0 to 10? Personality, sharing interests, trainer success, appearance, sex appeal, ect. 0 means doesn't care at all, 10 means it can't be more important, 5 means semi-important. I would also need your opinion in these qualities for Misty, May, Dawn and Iris, on a scale of -10 to 10. 0 means neutral, negatives are negative qualities, positives are positive qualities. If, for example, a girl's personality couldn't be more conflicting with Ash's (think a rival, like May and Harley) this would be a -10. If they bond very strongly, it would be in the higher positives. If they aren't particularly close, but don't necessarily conflict with each other, that's a 0 (the average character of the day).

Ok then... Any serious answers? The fact that you have to ask a given population of people for inputs regarding characteristics of a certain subject suggests that your premises are based on subjective judgments, rather than objective facts. As a result, your "statistical analysis" holds no real weight as an objective argument. All your numbers are garnered from a biased, subjective source, therefore the conclusions drawn from such data will inevitably be biased in your favor.

Ok then... Any serious answers? No, I'm pretty sure @thatwiseguy was being Serious. I would make a breakdown on how serious that answer was, but the seriousness of it all could potentially give me a serious injury due to the seriousness of the procedure. Seriously.

Not if I ask all the communities and average the votes.

The Gouda has spoken! But in all seriousness, This would almost be impossible to truly judge. Not only is the characterization that we see from the show limited, but it is also skewed in a positive light the majority of the time, and that isn't even adding genetics and hormonal compatibility into the mix. If we guessed off of what we've been shown, we would be almost guaranteed to make a incorrect judgement, and, unless someone has a canonical comprehensive list of every character containing every personality quirk, gauged responses to a vast amount of stimuli, and a thorough list of every genetic marker of ever character in the running, all we could do is guess. And not the educated guessing, the kind of guessing that makes for humorously incorrect judgments. (Unless we get absurdly lucky.)

It's about seeing a connection between two characters and how you feel toward a possibility of a romance.

It's about seeing a connection between two characters and how you feel toward a possibility of a romance. Besides, 96.7 percent of all statistics are wrong...
