Ash got Top 8. He lost to a guy who only had five Pokémon with him at the time because his Riolu partner evolved into Lucario and beat up Pikachu and Snivy. ... Really? Is Ash getting worse...? Apparently. I still think that Iris is sapping Ash's maturity and training knowledge, because you don't beat a Darkrai in the previous league and then end up losing to a kid with only five Pokémon. Plus, the kid that Ash lost to originally thought that the Unova League Conference was in Ecruteak City in Johto and that you only needed 7 Badges to enter. And his team was composed of Lucario, Samurott, Ferrothorn, Swanna, and Hydreigon. Ash should've beaten him, and if he had to lose, he could've lost to the guy with a team of Eevee and its evolutions since the Eevee guy won the League anyway. |

At the rate these last two were going (Hoenn (8), Sinnoh (4)) I though this was going to be the outcome Unova (2). But no, they just had to make him a clueless idiot. Sure they're targeting a smaller audience, but come on!! Don't exaggerate!! Besides, Pokemon is old as hell, did the creators really think that only newly introduced fans would watch this!!? Come on!! They even made him forget GenI!

Well Hydreigon can be a real annoyance, but for Pikachu to lose to a newly evolved Pokemon really is just pathetic.
