Darn, then I can never play Prince of Persia. I don't own a Playstation of any kind. What's Deus Ex about? Never heard of it, but you guys are making me interested. It's a little too complicated t explain without spoilers. However, Deus Ex: HR is a First Person Shooter/RPG that has a deep storyline with great characters that deals with Transhumanism and what it means to be human. It is a 'cyber punk' world. Look that up for further info. Anyway, in the future, augamentations (mechanical/robotic implants) are the lastest in technology. They allow humans to go beyond their previous limitations. The world is very much divided on the issue. On one hand, these augamentations greatly benefit those with physical/mental diabilities. 'Augs' range from prosthetic limbs to enhanced vision, hearing, to military grade super weapons. However, you can get them even if you don't need them. The downside is that those who get the augs will have to take a special drug )Which is extremely addictive) that prevents the body from rejecting these implants for the rest of their lives. This drug is extremely expensive and not everyone can offord it. If you can't get the drug, your body starts rejecting the implants and you get very crippled and die a slow horrible death. This means that only the rich can offord the augs. The gap between the rich and poor is even wider. Due to the numerous benefits of augs, most jobs require you to get them. If you ca't you probably won't find employment anywhere. Some also argue how much humans should be allowed to alter their bodies. What it means to be human and how much change you can make before you are more robot than human. Infact, 'robot' is one of the more common insults thrown at those who have been augamented. Often, these ideological clashes turn violent. Their are groups that support either side who don't hesitate to kill those who oppose their ideals. Those who develop augs often use unethical and often dangerous means to achieve their goals. Often, you wonder whether the people you're working for are actually the ones behind the conspiracy. You play as Adam Jensen, Cheif of Security at Sarif Industries, one of the worlds' leading developers in augamentations. Scientists at Sarif have made a new discovery that could deal with the drug problem. Your are assigned to protect them. However everything goes wrong. Sarif Industries is attacked by an unknown group. In a flash, the top 5 scientists, including your ex-girlfriend Megan Reed are dead and the data is gone. You are severly crippled in the incident and almost die. To save you, your boss, Sarif decides to augament you. Almost everything, your arms, legs, eyes, lungs, and a whole lot more are replaced with Augamentations without your consent. This is just the prolouge. The real game starts when Adam get;s back into action and must find out who attacked your company and why and what happened to the data. The game has a deep storyline dealing with transhumanism, what it means to be human. Along the way, you must discover conspiracies. The game uses a conversation system similar to Mass Effect but different in key aspects. While it has traditional boss battles (which were not recieved well) it also has boss battles in the form of conversations battles. The game presents multiple options to deal with situations. You can go in guns blazing and kill every enemy you find. Or you can use your hacking skills to turn the enemy's automated defenses against them or you can just sneak by without killing anyone. The game also has a morality system. However, that aspect is fairly basic. If you want a game that will not just entertain you but also make you think, I highly recommend playing it. There were many times when I just stepped back and got thinking. I would just sit back and think "Wow, this is a real moral dilema". I suggest you watch these trailers to get a better idea about the game. They can't stop the Future Purity First 'Propoganda' Conspiracy House of Revenge Might I add that the soundtrack is simply divine.

Wow, that sounds simply amazing! It's official, you've got me hooked and I haven't even played it yet! If I ever have the money and stumble upon this game, I am buying it no questions asked! Thanks for explaining it to me Jackie! I really appreciate it.

One thing I forgot to add. You can knout out / kill just about everyone in the game. This includes plot important characters and all the NPCs you see on the streets.
If you just want something to vent your anger through, look no further. Go on killing spree on the streets. Look at videos on youtube. It's just so goddamn funny.
For exapmle, look up "Adam's bitch-slapping montage" and it will lead you to other similar videos.
