E3 - Is YOUR Body Ready?

Starting from June 11th to the 13th, E3 will be around as they talk about the latest games and the newest games coming out this year, next year, or the following year after that (Boo!). For one thing, many gamers are hyped to the point of ridiculous expectations.

One forum stands out from all the rest. Want to know what forum it is? Haha, not fucking us that's for sure!

It's the forum that grew to a huge status around the gaming community, one where even developers and publishers make accounts to leak "accidentally" some news of their upcoming games and stuff - though that practice has long since died. In Scribblenauts, if you type their name their logo appears and if you ride it, terrible shit happens.

This forum is known as NeoGaf.

They're the ones that are hyped beyond compare. They're well known for being disorganized in their organized forums! The elitists, the noobs, the engineers, those under the Dunning–Kruger effect, etc!

Want to see how hyped they are? Well... this .gif they use is not really the case of hype for just E3, but it's so awesome that I can't help but put in!

Another thing about them, particularly the NintenGaf side, have amassed so much hype that they made a portrait of their hype for Nintendo and their Direct on the 11th... Konami Pre-E3 Show:

Since Konami’s failure of a 2010 E3 Press Conference (ONE MIRRION TROOPS!), they’ve planned their conferences to be more similar to a Nintendo Direct. They focus on the games that are already out, are coming out soon, and are coming out later on. Here are the games they’ve announced:

- Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2014
Made to capture the real essence of football/futbol (I refuse to call it soccer... but the the fucking title is PES).
Created a new game engine for it.
Has been developing this engine for the past few years.
The engine is named Fluidity and is derived from their analyis of football, which is made by fluid, constant movement and switches.
Originally based on the FOX Engine (Kojima's Engine) and made exclusive for PES.
Has 6 cores to the engine: TrueBall Tech, M.A.S.S, PES ID, Team Play, Heart, and The Core.
- TrueBall Tech allows you to control the ball in any direction and even allows it when in the air. Also allows the "Carry Center" in which you can control the very center of the person you're controlling and the ball's center.
- M.A.S.S. stands for Motion Animation Stability System. It stimulates the physics of body contact.
- The purpose of the Heart aspect is to capture the feel of you playing when you're at home and away. Implemented Team Morale and Motivation Levels. The better you play, the more the team is relaxed and calm when they're both "Home" and "Away" and affect personal motivation and abilities.

- Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
The game will involve topics such as race and revenge. Much more darker than previous games.
Takes place in 1984 with Snake (Naked Snake/Big Boss) being 49 years old.
Keifer Sutherland as the voice for Snake. Suggested by Avi Arad, a friend of Kojima in Hollywood.
Previous games had Snake be emotional through words, but will be more expressed through vocal and facial expressions.
Developed the FOX Engine and tries to make it photorealistic.
Is now an open world.
Will add more depth and character into the story than ever before.

- Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2
Takes place immediately after Lords of Shadow's cliffhanger.
The story becomes dark, "even cruel".
Main character is Dracula and has 3 new abilities.
Enemies have shields and armor. Will need to break down the armor and expose the weakspot.
Developed the combat system to be more strategic, tight, and tactical.
Adjusted the Mercury Engine and thus adjusted the new game to the adjusted engine.
Will be able to walk freely in the game's setting without loading times and it being more organic.
Will allow a free camera.
Takes place in a modern day setting.
The music will be composed by Oscar Araujo and will make the music more in tune to the character's emotions.
Will be coming out on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

- Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 parody made by Mega64.

It's sort of both. One to show the fans the games that are coming up and for the investors as in, "We have great games, keep supporting us". It used to be more about the investors, but E3 has been open to the public since 2009 in its restructure.

Microsoft E3

Finally, E3! Especially Microsoft and their Xbox One conference! Microsoft have been REALLY lackluster in their E3s for years now, ever since Kinect came along. Now it's their time to shine. Will the Xbox One seem good or will it just be shit?
How will they do? Let's find out!

EA... How I hate thee. From your DRM, Online Passes, Your crappy sequels, etc... You just suck in general. However, from Microsoft's pretty decent conference; I will give you the benefit of the doubt.
