I know, I'm actually surprised they decided to admit such a thing.

Here's a thought. What if this was all just a marketing ploy to get eveybody's attention focused on the Xbox One? Get everybody pissed off over the always online DRM in order to get it circulated on the news and once everybody knew about it they reveal that they are going to take away the things that pissed eveybody off. I might be over thinking this but it's something that's been bugging me ever since the announcement.

It's possible that they wanted to create the image of a company that listens to the feedback they get from consumers in order to gain trust from those consumers. Even still, it's a risky move to make on purpose in terms of marketing. But then again, it's still hard to believe that they would actually have been stupid enough to keep all of those awful policies. I dunno, it's all been one big clusterfuck to be honest xD

But if they say this and don't do it, people would trade it in, no questions asked. I'm not a fan of XBOX and there are no games I want that is on the xbox, so no worries for meee.

Humanity is the pickiest bunch of bastards I have ever met. Now that Microsoft is changing the Xbox One people are starting to complain and saying that the ideas were good.XD
And some people wonder why there is so many "I don't want to live on this planet any more"/"No faith in humanity" posts. We're so indecisive and stubborn that we always fight over the smallest of things.

Believe it or not but the answer is yes, some people want the DRM back. Not everybody wants it but I have seen people try to make others feel bad about the removal of the DRM.
