The Slenderman mythos is a great one. The Slender games are some of the few horror games that are perfect at doing horror. Unlike many games which resort to simple jump scares, Slender sets up the atmosphere perfectly. It's still jump scares but they understand how to make jump scares truly scary. You KNOW that something is going to pop up and scare you shitless. It's the anticipation and knowledge that the scare is coming that makes the whole experience scarier.
