I asked Serebii on facebook if the scan was legit, he said it was but it is not confirmed if that Butterfree belongs to Ash. Chances are it is by looking at the emotion in that screenshot. But still, let us not get our hopes up that high yet.

Doubt it, in this scan we see Oshawott crying over his broken shell (there is a better name, but I forgot how to spell it) and in the movie poster Oshawott stays the same. But who knows, maybe after this ep Oshawott might consider to evolve. But seeing how marketable Oshawott is, evolving him is low.

What really makes me really excited besides Butterfree is that Ash vs Iris. They have battled each other before so why does this one so different?
