I read that both actors are going to be in it in the same roles as the parents of the main girl.

Yeah, and I heard that Cory ended up becoming a teacher like Mr.Feeney (who didn't see that coming)? xD
And they said that Shawn might make an appearance, but it wasn't certain. I really hope so.
Haha, and I wanna see Erick again as well!

You have no idea how excited I am for this show!!! Seeing Cory and Topanga again is going to be the most nostalgic thing I could ever think of experiencing. I really hope that the writing for the show is just as smart and funny as it was for the original series. Disney has a tendency to streamline the style of humor they use for a lot of their shows, so I hope the writers really do this show the justice it deserves!!

The only thing that worries me is that this is appearing on Disney Channel. Disney Channel really hasn't been doing well on their shows as of late.

Yeah, that's kind of my concern as well. Some of their shows are really great, but a lot of them just seem to have the same jokes, the same types of characters, etc. It'd be such a shame of a show with an amazing amount of potential got lost in a sea of crappy television xD
I'm also worried this new show may lack the maturity the old one had. Boy Meets World was amazing because it appealed to people of all ages. Kids could enjoy it but so could older teens and adults.

Oh Gouda/Myself, please don't let Disney destroy my childhood with this spin-off. Let this spin-off be good and well deserving as the sequel. Don't let it fall into the hands of the tweens, that's be ridiculous and I definitely would lose all hope of humanity.
When that does, I will begin the flood.
