Okay, so here's a question to discuss: Out of all of the Pokemon that each of the characters have had with them/caught, which one is your favorite and why?

Overall: Togekiss. I don't like Togepi and Togetic that much, but I do like Togekiss.

I dunno, the fact that Dawn got a Togekiss that easily feels like...cheating to me. Ah, maybe I'm just too much of a purist xD

Yeah, but Iris got a Dragonite right before a big tournament and managed to beat Georgia's Beartic and Dawn's Mamoswine and get into the semifinals. Luckily for Ash, his Krokorok evolved into Krookodile and beat the Dragonite.

Alright, everyone! New episode today in Japan! And guess what? We can have a little bit more hope in Ash again! In his battle with Iris, Dragonite was raging down upon Krokorok, but then, it evolved into Krookodile and practically mauled that cheating Dragonite with its newly learned move Dragon Claw (totally called it) despite Dragonite's new Dragon Rush attack. Ash then went onto battle against Trip's Serperior with Pignite, and thankfully, Pignite did not lose easily! Serperior did turn out to be pretty tough with Leer, Solarbeam, Frenzy Plant, and a new move that it learned in mid-battle, Dragon Tail, which ended up defeating Pignite, but Pignite put up a great fight!

Next episode, we'll see Trip battle Alder, Ash battle Dawn, we'll say good-bye to Dawn, and then, we'll say hello to a new character named Kotetsu, who has a Riolu as his walk-along partner and a Samurott as well. Kotetsu is going to meet Ash and the others in the next episode and then travel with them to the gym of Marlon, the new Water-type Gym Leader, where we'll see Kotetsu battle Marlon's Mantine with his Samurott.

Now, seeing as how Trip has a Serperior and Bianca has an Emboar, this could mean that Kotetsu is going to be one of Ash's major rivals in the Unova League due to the Samurott on his team. We don't know this for sure, but seeing as how meeting him is a major part of the next episode, I'm gonna guess that there's a really good chance of this happening. BTW, here's a picture of him:



Sounds pretty cool if you ask me. Now, other things coming soon in the future is two episodes. One is an episode in a Pokemon Nursery School where Cilan is supposed to calm a dispute between a Rufflet and a Vullaby, and the other is an episode involving Meloetta and the Abyssal Ruins/Temple!

So, any thoughts about the latest episode or any of the upcoming episodes?

This just in! I've got some news on the upcoming Team Rocket arc from a preview video! One, Team Rocket is going to be in control of the Kami Trio in their Therian forms! Meloetta is of great importance in the arc as well, but there's bigger news than that. Are you ready kids, because I'm about to rock your world...

Ash and Giovanni are finally going to meet and face off in the actual show! DUH DUH DUH!

Okay, so here's the lowdown: from what evidence shows us, Giovanni is trying to take control over the Unova region using the Abyssal Temple. There's a picture showing Pikachu and Persian battling, so it's possible that the two will battle. Also, Giovanni is engulfed in a red light while laughing evilly, and Jessie, James, and Meowth are jumping towards him like they're trying to save him or something and then an explosion of white light occurs. There's scenes of the Kami trio and Meloetta with glowing red eyes as if they're being controlled or something, Cynthia's Garchomp was in the preview, so she'll appear, and there's a Golurk for some reason. I have heard rumors about Cilan catching a Golurk, but I'm not certain as of yet. We see Garchomp, Dragonite, and Golurk fighting the Kami Trio, and the biggest news yet...a video mentioned something about "the end of Team Rocket after 15 years."

What could this mean? What do you think? Thoughts?

Based on that information, I assume that the rumors of Ash's journeys ending are true, then. Team Rocket is an important piece in the anime.

Yeah I agree if TR is going down there's a good chance that the true end is near. And of course as we all know if the true end is coming near then the one chance of having an Ash shipping become canon is at that point. It will be interesting to see considering everything, although why Giovanni would put Jesse, James, and Meowth in charge of the Kami trio is beyond me. The only competent thing they've done was apparently before we met them. Ever since then they've been tailing Pikachu they've been even worse than the laughing stock of the organization.

But I'm actually rather annoyed at the fact that Iris simply found and caught a full grown Dragonite. That's just a bit too much considering the power it has. Although it would be funny if a co-star suddenly had a Pokemon that could beat half of Ash's team with minimal effort. At least his Krookodile finally evovled. That's probably my favorite out of the current gen Pokemon, mostly because he's the true powerhouse of my Black team. God Moxie is overpowered when going up against NPCs.

But onto last question of favorite Pokemon for each cast member.

Ash - So many that I love or want to see more of, but although it might be cliche I have to choose Charizard. Great backstory all the way from Charmander and even as a Charizard he's quite entertaining and interesting.
Misty - Gyarados
Brock - Vulpix
Tracy - Scyther (though I do wish that someone would have caught a younger one, I loved watching them fight in Gen 1)
May - Glaceon
Dawn - Quilava (not that I really knew much about her Pokemon after getting Aipom though)
Iris/Cilian - Haven't seen a single episode of Black & White so I really don't have much of an opinion outside of which is my personal favorite from what they own

Well, TR has gotten a lot better at their job in the Black and White series. Though, I really wish that the Team Plasma episodes hadn't been banned. Then maybe the series would be truer to the games.
