Hey, guys! Pichu here, and it's time for your weekly PokeNews!
Okay, so first off, we had our new episode in Japan today where we saw the premiere of Corless, a hologram of Ghetsis, and the return of Looker! So Corless was shown taking control of Pokemon and powering them up, and it was affecting other Pokemon close by, including Pikachu and Axew. Luckily, Looker had a device that neutralizes the effects of Corless's devices. Then, they went after Corless, who took control of Pikachu! Looker tried to use his device to free Pikachu, but Pikachu destroyed it! However, Pikachu's power became too much for Corless's devices, so all of them were destroyed, the Pokemon were freed, and an impressed Corless escaped with some other members of Team Plasma. That's basically the gist of it.
Oh, and I also found out that Corless is going to be voiced in the English dub by Sean Schemmel, who not only voiced Goku in DBZ, but also several memorable characters in the Pokemon series such as Jimmy, Morrison, Lucario, and Cyrus! So, I'm really excited about that one!
Also, big news! We're finally getting a Meloetta event! Starting on March 4th in the US and running until the 24th, Meloetta will be distributed at Gamestop stores all across the US! It also starts in Canada at EB Games stores on March 9th! And in Australia and New Zealand, it starts on March 4th and runs until April 19th! And for those people in Australia and New Zealand, I have a link right here that will tell you what stores are participating in this event and where you can find them: www.nintendo.com.au/files/get-meloetta-location-list.pdf
At the moment, it's currently unknown when it will start in Europe, but I'll let you know when I find out!
