Smash Ultimate broke it's street date early at a few stores in Mexico and now the ost is out on the web and people are starting to datamine it.
While I was low key expecting somebody to break street date early I wasn't expecting it to happen 15 days before the release date and to happen in Mexico. I figured it was gonna come out 5 days early due to some small store in Japan like what happened with Smash 3DS.

It's just that some stores are run by people who don't give a shit about release dates and sell the game early. While it's always happened in the past it's sadly been on the rise in the past 4-5 years.
As for datamining... well some people are always interested in finding out about the stuff that was gut part way through or learning about stuff that was planned but never really come to fruition. It's damn near impossible to entirely remove old stuff from the development period of a video game. And as such when people find that stuff it helps paint a picture of how the development ran along.
Of course there's also the people who just want to ruin all of the surprises in the game but people are arseholes like that and we just have to deal with it.

I saw somebody live streaming Smash Ultimate and now I know why leakers leak games early. Because they fucking suck at playing them. XD

Smash Ultimate has now been officially released here in Australia.
So here's a vid by an Australian Smash player as fitting send off to Smash 4.
