Yeah, we only did the first half. Since the second was... dark. and j didnt know about the second half until like four weeks ago... I've seen a few productions do that and - for a school production - I can see why. Still, I can't help but feel like it loses something when the second act is left out.... I dont know how to feel about that since I just recently found out there was a second half XD so what do you think about Disney making the movie adaptation??

I've got an audition for Mary Poppins coming up in about a month, and we're supposed to bring a prepared solo.
So anyone know any good showtunes in a similar style?

Alright, in hopes of stirring up a little bit of activity in this board, let's star with a few general questions:
Favorite productions?

Everyone knows mine XD
Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables XD
Those are the ones I've seen on stage.
But I also like Wicked, heard the sound track and completely missed the show when they came to Dallas XD
OH! and I watched Love Never Dies. Which was okay I prefer the sound track though XD
I think I went a bit off the question lol

For me personally, it's a dead-heat between Pippin and Hair. I've seen 'em both several times, and never fail to enjoy myself...

In the end, I chose not to audition. The rehearsal schedule had too many conflicts for me...

So, before every performance at my school, a couple of my friends and I have to perform a little ceremony backstage, which I've decided to share:
Prayer of the Thee-uh-ter
[one]: Everybody please join hands. [one]: We give thanks to the Flying Spaghetti Monster, for he has touched us with his noodle-y appendages. [two]: And we give thanks to the Invisible Pink Unicorn, for having graced us with her majestic presence. [one]: In the name of the spaghetti... [two]: And the horn... [duo]: And the Blood-lord Cthulu. [all]: Amuhn.
It all started after one cast member decided to start leading group prayers before each performance. A few of my friends and I performed this little piece in the corner of the hallway, and went on to have a killer show that night, so the ritual kinda stuck...
