Same answer as to why they ALWAYS need to enter a suspicious/scary room/house. Because they're f-ing stupid. Right but still just stay out the fucking water you won't die And don't open that door/walk down that tunnel/be alone with that dude. If they made a scary movie, starring characters who used logic, it wouldn't be a scary movie - it'd probably be more towards a thriller.

Exactly it would be like even if you did the right thing and avoided danger it will still find you. So it doesn't matter if you are dumb and do the wrong thing the monster or killer will still come after you! That would be scary

The vila, Baba Yaga, and others from Slavic mythology I haven't heard of them, but they sound interesting. Can you please explain?

Vila are nature spirits that are basically like faeries or nymphs. Some say they like to play tricks on men, others say they are guardians of the land, some say they are both.
Baba Yaga is the spirit if an old woman witch, but her myths vary from culture to culture as well. I was taught not to fear her, but not to piss her off either. You can read more on Wikipedia, lol

There's a field with a road somewhere in the PH where they say a ghost girl resides. They say she hitch hikes in cars and appears when you look at the rearview mirror.
